Disaster Recovery and Business Continuity Planning
When disaster strikes is often the most difficult time for a company. It is essential to plan thoroughly to protect
yourself from the impact of potential crises, such as fire, flood, theft or IT system failure. Failure to plan could
be detrimental to your business, at best you risk losing customers while you're fixing the problem, at worst your business
may never recover. We have a range of services to support both your disaster preparedness and data recovery.
In December 2006 the British Standards Institution (BSI) released a new standard for Business Continuity Planning - BS25999.
Business Continuity Planning is the creation and validation of a logistical plan for how an organisation will recover
and restore interrupted functions. This is particularly relevant for organisations
which operate in high risk environments such as finance and the public sector, where the ability
to continue operating is paramount.
We can assess the impact a disaster will have on your company and reduce the risk that vital information would be lost.
Our solutions range from storing back-ups of your data in our own data store, to providing you with your own fire safe.
Our support encompasses your servers, PCs and physical records, as well as any other items you consider vital to your
business such as external hard drives.
We recognise that possible disasters for your company are not always natural in todays world so we also provide solutions
for data recovery when your business has problems with viruses, spyware and malware, as well as providing removal of these.
In these instances we are able to offer recovery of data from both individual PCs and servers. If your business has previously
had issues with these modern attackers we can install and maintain protections against them to minimise the risk of any further incidents.
